With a unique blend of creative and technical know-how, I’ve delivered bespoke solutions to business, government and global brands alike. Below is a small selection of that work.
With over 15 years in the creative industry I've worked on a lot of projects for a whole range of global companies and busy agencies wearing all manner of creative and technical hats. Whilst I've worked across of range of print and digital media I tend to work in the following areas.
Running sketching workshops, outlining products, looking at customer journeys, establishing roadmaps, developing interfaces... this my bread and butter. I'm fluent in Axure, Sketch, XD and Invision and have developed hundreds of websites, applications, touch screens, voice recognition and data management prototypes for companies such as Microsoft, Nestlé and GoCompare; as well as central government and the defence industry.
I've been both a Creative Lead and Creative Director and managed some big projects with complicated briefs. Outside of specific projects I've provided strategy and direction in a wider capacity - helping companies shift from paper-based methods to more digital practices and helped those more digitally savvy take steps into new emerging technology.
Marketing collateral, exhibition material, promotional items, bid design and corporate identity and brochures - I started as a graphic designer 15 years ago and I'm still doing it today. So whether you're looking to refresh your brand or just looking for something new and exciting to show yourself off with - I have a wealth of experience to bring to your project.
I also doddle very well.
I like code... and can usually be found with my head buried in HTML, CSS and jQuery developing some kind of website or a hard-coded prototype. Having designed, built and managed many large-scale responsive sites and IOS apps I'm familiar with a wide range of front and back end technologies. Outside of a hands-on development I've held senior technical positions and managed various development projects and teams.
Whilst I've worked predominately within the private sector I do have considerable experience consulting both directly or indirectly for government and it's departments. In particular Defence; on projects to date that have included everything from legislation to standardization, cyber and communication - working with the likes of MoD, Dstl, DStan, DE&S, DCMS, TechUk and General Dynamics. I am also SC cleared.
