Cyber Growth Partnership

Brand identity, discovery and prototype website

The Cyber Growth Partnership (CGP) is composed of representatives from academia, government and industry. To meet government targets on cybersecurity the CGP needed a method of increasing the UK’s cyber offering as well as its export overseas. As the CGP was newly formed it also required an identity under which to operate and a means of regulating and improving standards across the industry.

The solution involved providing an online platform that would not only act as a central resource for industry news and events; but would as serve to provide cyber companies and security professionals a forum where they could promote their services and products. Whilst registering with the CGP would be recommended to all security professionals, membership into the CGP was strictly vetted; based both a point system as well as academic and professional accreditations. Newly established companies would be granted a trial period (as not to discriminate) to achieve the required credentials but would not be allowed to sell its products or services through the site until doing so. Membership would be reviewed periodically, and 'points' deducted from those professionals who did not actively contribute to the content of the site. To ensure quality customers were allowed to review and provide feedback on services and products offered by registered members through the site.

The site was launched with TechUK and supported by Ed Vaizy - Minister for Culture and the Digital Economy.
