Gocompare is an online comparison website for financial products that include car insurance, home, energy and breakdown cover. Having previously worked on the launch of Weflip (an energy switching service, also part of the Goco Group) I was invited back to work on developing the future roadmaps for GoCompare products – looking in particular at how energy and car could evolve. Outside of the general everyday UX/UI considerations to improve conversion, my focus was user retention and personalization in addition to how new technology could be utilised to improve market share.
