Contracted as a UX/UI Designer to assist with the discovery, scoping and prototyping of Morpheus, the next-generation tactical communications system of the British Armed Forces. Set to replace BOWMAN, Morpheus would represent a significant leap forward in military communication, giving access to fully integrated operational information technology that simplifies the user experience, allowing units to focus on the mission.

I led a series of discovery workshops on Morpheus, attended by army personnel of various ranks. During these workshops, I encouraged participants to engage in discussions and hands-on activities to identify and outline their needs and requirements for the new system. Attendees sketched their ideas providing me with valuable insights into the practical challenges they face in the field. This interactive approach enabled me to capture a diverse range of perspectives and translate them into actionable design concepts and prototypes. By focusing on user-centric design, this process ensured that the Morpheus system would address the specific needs of actual users.
